Two tiers double storage across the same wall width. The lower row takes daily items, the upper what is used seldom. Bench surface is the most expensive real estate in a kitchen, and it shouldn't be filled with spices, plates and service sets. The wall shelf moves that load vertical — within reach but off the bench. Bracket mounting puts no legs on the floor, so the bench below stays fully cleanable. The double tier doubles storage across the same wall width. At 300 mm depth, plates and GN pans sit without overhang.
